CAMP WILDFIRE
10TH ANNIVERSARY FILM & LARGE-SCALE social CONTENT CAPTURE
For its 10th anniversary, Camp Wildfire reached out to Outpost 9 and entrusted Ryan Lovejoy with creating the official anniversary film: capturing the scale, atmosphere, and spirit of the event.
Camp Wildfire is an outdoor festival set deep in the woods - built around camping, adventure, creativity, and shared experience. By day, there are over 100 activities spanning outdoor pursuits, workshops, talks, and challenges. By night, it transforms into a fully immersive party in the forest with live music, late-night DJs, and communal celebrations around campfires.
A centrepiece of the opening ceremony was a surprise aerial display, featuring a stunt plane flying low over the campsite as the festival officially began. Outpost 9 worked closely with the Camp Wildfire team & pilots to rig a camera system directly to the aircraft, capturing a unique airborne perspective of the ceremony and the whole site below.
Across the weekend, the focus was on documenting life at Camp Wildfire as it’s lived: waking up in the woods, going wild at the Patrol Games, exploring new skills by day, and coming together for music and celebration by night - delivering a flagship anniversary film that reflects both the legacy of Camp Wildfire and the atmosphere that has kept people returning for a decade.
